Default Carbon or polished?

I need a new turbo heatshield, cam belt cover and strut brace...

Im pondering on the idea of going for Carbon or for polished? Can you get a carbon fibre effect strut brace? I know Mike sells the carbon heatsheilds and cam covers, but still not sure what route to go.

What have you all got? pics... suggestions?

I will add that I have got a Carbon Fibre splitter and hockey sticks on, so this was swaying me towards the carbon, thou I have seen some really nicely finished turbo heatsheilds that look really nice, just like the originals but polished... any idea where these are from?

Is it proper carbon, or is it just carbon on top of normal alloy/steel brace?

Never noticed you've got Monte written on your rocker cover before, even more of a flash git...

it started out as an alloy brace and then i had it covered in real carbon fibre,so you get both strength and looks anyway, go and put your tank on,lol

It was at least as quick as my Escort, and a lot less maintenance as well... But still, only fwd

Yes, it was almost flat... Steel at the ends as well, painted black, then fading over into the carbon.
