Default my first event with the escos soon!! canny wait :top:

well ive got a brinters VMAX day coming up, very very excited, bit nervous as the escos is going to be run up to vmax a few times, hopefully it'll do her good and blow all the carbon built up out the motor, hopefully the weeny T28 wont swallow itself!!!

so come on then predictions, what do you think my small turbo car will top out at?, shes got mongoose 3" bore system, and panel filter, ermm thats it!! lol

140?

what do these cars feel like at vmax? stable or abit skitish and whats the chances of me damaging somethink? lol

buftyness has well and truely been left behind!!

What sort of disance is it over??
I know my car feels a bit light around 120 but had it showng 150+ and over 130 seems to smooth out and feels better.

where is it, and over what distance have you got to play with.

Cant imagine you will break anything, but holding it at full load in 5th gear for quite a while will generate some heat and maybe put a fair bit of strain on things!

just make sure you give it plenty of time to cool after your long runs!

how long was you @ 150? these cars are designed to be run up and definarly need a good blowout now and again, so maybe you had a problem elsewhere and doing the run showed up the issue.

I did suspect the chip on mine and im pretty sure it leaned right off judging by the state of the piston.

make it hot

pick an industrial area and choose a small piece of road with for example a nice 90 degree bend into it then just keep playing in the bend and downshift nice ... you will feel the exhaust getting hotter by feeling on the gear stick
