I had real grief when fitting harder polly ones and found the only way was to bend the lip straight and re-bend after fitment. Rubber ones normally go on with a little persusian and wd40.

Just try to put the soap either on the hanger itself, or just in the hole on the rubber it's going into. A flat blade screwdriver sometimes helps too - but be fooking careful with it!!

I had a nightmare with mine - just bought a new mongoose centre section for mine as the old one was fooked!! The coonts have obviously changed the design since I bought it cos it was 2" longer at the downpipe end and 1" longer at the other!!

I just chopped 3" off the downpipe itself!!! Actually it sorted a couple of other clearance issues as an unexpected bonus so a happy ending........

But still a cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooont!!

they are easy compared to polys, now they are hard work you can always get some special exhaust hanger pliers as a last resort i normally thread a long thin s/driver through the hole ,lever it round o nto the hanger and turn /twist to pop it on

Did the front diff in situe once, took ages to wriggle the fookin thing out. put it back in, bolted up the back diff bolt - then went to put the front one in and found you can't get the bolt in due to the steering column!!

Had to take it back out again to put the bolt in first!! Then it was an overhead arm ache turning the bolt one flat at a time, turning the spanner around each time to get the angle of dangle!!

Anything to do with the front anti rollbar I hate too - especially tca's!!

jesus ive just changed my standard exhaust on my escos to to mongy and MY GOD every single part of my body was aching took me days to get it on properly!!! in the end i went to ford and brought all new hangers so i could just chop the old ones off, but i used wd40 and it made life alot easier, and i used alot of brute force!!!! ive got my MOT due at the end of october and im dreading putting the standard unit back on so much that i going to take my car to someone to have a 100 cell race car put in, so i can forget about it!!!
