Is this for the competent mechanic, or the novice who is handy with a 13mm and a screwdriver ?

Can be done on own but you do need to be a little handy with spanners etc

BTW if your subframe hasnt been modded the alternator will have to come off too...

To get the long bolt out the subframe, the alt has to come off or be moved to allow the bolt to come out

Unless the subframe been modded and the bolt goes UP from below

Didn't take my alternator off either. Just jacked engine up a bit to get bolt out
