From the E-Bay Advert, it sounds as though its Richie Russ' Mate who is selling it after having the rebiuld done by Mark Shead and from reading the advert he is being honest about it..

You could do that but the question is why is it on a 3i logbook in the first place, it could well be a build up or a cat b repaired or somebody could also be missing it and thats the reason why its on a 3i book

No, have no affiliation with Keighley trade centre and never owned an escos but I would have bought this one in a heartbeat

That escos is worth its weight in gold to an Irish buyer
The logbook says its an xr3i which means when it comes to paying import tax a potential Irish owner would pay about 800-900 euro

Import tax on a escos is normally between 5 and 8 thousand euro!!!

 

wouldnt it have to go through a vechile check , and all details check with chasis , engine etc and not look like they have be tampered with

 

Not really, although the law on this is changing but for the moment a visual inspection and the V5 is all thats needed.
The visual inspection could be a girl working in the Tax office that wouldnt know an escos if you drove it up her arse nevermind an xr3i
