Can someone tell me the correct procedure for refilling the cooling system after it losing pretty much all of it's coolant due to a split hose please? Thanks

50/50 ratio anti freeze to water,
i pre mix mine and just fill, start up, let bubbles escape (leave cap of)
when no bubbles, i put it back on, i also turn my heater on, on warm.
