I just bought a new one and had the old threaded part welded into your nice new cooler. Damn it, I cannot remember the thread size. A lovely job though, will post some photos for you.
The thread is imperial, could it possibly be 5/8" or 1/2"?

Hmmmmmm.. you would have thought it would be metric...
we need to do some small turbo coolers next week and we need to identify the thread...
may need to order a sendr from Fords and measure it...

I found all the threads on the engine to be imperial.
The first race was a bit of a test, I was in 2nd pos in my group and then it came on snow. I did not have the correct tyres and so did not go out for the second run. The third run was better but I had no overall time.
Next event is Wolsfeld next weekend.
The cooler drew more attention than either the car or myself. Almost everyone that passed by looked at it, many people took photos of it.
I just smiled.
