Default Big Decision

Due to a change of job, I now don't use my escos to travel to work, and since christmas I've done somewhere in the region of 500 miles. So due to the expense of running these cars, and the loan repayments etc I am starting to think, is it worth selling, and getting something cheaper, which I wouldn't have a loan for?

Have been thinking of either a saph cossy, S1 turbo escort, or something different like a westfield/TVR S1 ?

Just wondering what people on here would do?

i like to run a cheaper second car, aswell as my COZZIE,at the mo
ive' got a x reg vectra sri,and a transit diesel van, if you can't afford to
keep it and its got to go,the best useable car with power and style
i've ever owned....step forward the 4x4 Sierra Cosworth..
the best car for doing everything and being cheap though was a
turbo diesel vectra, nearly 50mpg comfortably, easy to sell on too!!

Try to get a cheap runabout mate-I have a golf GTI mk3 to drive to work in and these can be picked up quite cheap now, if not get a saff as they are great everyday cars,I have had 3 and used them every day to go to work-best car I've had

I think you have both missed the point of the topic???

He says he is thinking of selling it as he DOESN'T use the car (500 miles since xmas)

Escort cossy's are holding there money, so you could think of it as an investment.... Then you get to keep the car.

Yep as damo said, its if I can justify shelling out a load of money every month, for the limited milage I do. Think I might try it up for sale and see if I get any interest, and if not I can just keep it.

Stuck it on the RS owners site to hopefully minimise time waters, and to test the water.

Not sure if I'm doing the right thing..
