hey
you need a antilag setup on youre engine managment.and you need a extra air valve that goes by the speed throttle .and you should have a special turbo.which is set up for antilag.the shaft that holds the turbine should be made of maram.
i do not know all about it..but i put on a picture of my engine bay.
i also do run a halltech e6k managment system with antilag

hehe, the time Lowman actually has been using his anti-lag probaly can be measured in milli-seconds! If the camera shoots 24 frames a second you MIGHT get one with some action!

its connected on the side of the inlet manifold.drilled a hole..and a hose connection.
als make the car much quicker.you have boost all the time.it keeps the turbo spinning.cause it delays the ignition.and ignites the fuel in the exhaust manifold.
this is roughly described what happens.

this is not the usual way of doing it
usually the throttle body is modified and so is the Idle Speed Control Valve (ISCV)..
But whatever the idea is to bypass the fly to allow air to feed the engine when you release the gaz

I did'nt say it was better or worse but it seems more used to do it this way..
Your engine looks awsome anyway! as far as I can see WRC inlet manifold with 8 Injectors even if only 4 are plugged (not yet or not any more??) Dizzyless + lots a little goods parts and the best cam cover color at all (I've got a T34 Escos)

here are the parts:

Modifed ISCV

and the TB

the idea here is to join the two idle ducts to only one the allow more flow

what matter is really how it feels on the car and how reliable it is, (mayby cost may be considered) after that who care!

Sorry to crash this topic but always had a doubt about ALS and now that you're talking about it if you don't mind me asking:

Does it afect reliability or not?
If so, a lot or not much...

Thanks...

As long as you have the correct uprated turbo etc, then no. I have had ALS on my car with no problems for 30,000 miles.
