Front Bumper

Front Bumper
Started to take off the front bumper to replace the clips that had broken causing it to drop. Got the bolts out from the front and the clips from the sides, but the two under underneath are stripped. So going to try and drill them out tonight, oh joy.
Nowt ever going as planned

Had three in the front, (one behind number plate), two clips on either side, and two up and under. These two under are the two I can't get out, and appear to be holdin the bumper on?

you dont take any out the front,or from under the number plate, the ones under the plate are the height adjusters, look underneath and behind the bumper at the chassis rails, right at the ends of these are 2 large bolts, remove the rear 2 bolts and loosen the front 2,bumper then pull out and off car.dont forget to undo h/lamp squirter pipe as well

this should help you,you can see the rear bolt removed and one loosened from the bumper bracket,a previous owner had tried removing my height adjusters and stripped the thread thats why you can see a new bolt in the pic

you will have to remove sumpguard or at least the front part of it to access bumper bolts iirc, prob easier to remove whole thing as the bolts that hold the 2 pieces together normally seize up,no need to remove ducts as these will stay bolted to cross member
