Looks like it was already sold on 20th of feb as both left feedback to say the deal was complete??

Bit confusing really. Maybe the buyer gave it back for whatever reason??

Id contact the seller and ask him to explain what happened. There may be a perfectly reasonable explanation.

Yeah, after a search, it turns out it used to belong to Dean-o on here....
Guess i can always email him, and find out what exactly happened, and for more details....

Yea, it used to belong to deano. Hes on here and the FEOC. He regrettably sold it a while back, but not long later the lad was trying to sell it on. Dont know why, but deano really did look after the car and spent a small fortune on it.

Hope it helps

Not sure if this helps. I was going to go and view this but it sold. The chap that did own it (about 6 months ago) had a complete repaint but not the roof. Allso it had the misfire then so I guess its not just a coilpack.

Well, asked a question, and got a reply along these lines.....

MSD did the rebuild and setup but has been set up again at PTS and the rust is small by the nearside rear sideskirt and it is hpi clear but check for yourself and has had no pannels as far as i know and the missfire will be fixed by a COILPACK and if you knew anything you would know that is a better source of ignition so will cure it but read the treads on passion ford....

Now, i'm not too clued up on cossies, but from what i've read on Stu's coilpack thread, yes, a coilpack will solve the problem of there being a misfire, but is this due to having to run plug gaps that are too small, and a coipack conversion will solve this? - However, surley a mis won't be present if all of the ignition parts are renewed, and points to a fundemental problem elsewhere? By all means correct me if i'm wrong!

Oh, and was "sold" as he was trying to ensure a reserve was met, so was bumping up the price.....

Sooo, think i may have to give this veiwing a miss....
But, on a plus note i should be going to central day (its at the Pod in April isn't it, to have a lookski at any possible cars that are for sale!)

plug gaps which are too big can cause misfires but it cant be that simple or it would have been sorted by now?

As Nick says, the missfire could be cured by reducing the plug gap, IF thats what the seller thinks the problem is

I would sail a wide berth ROFL
