Default WRC front wheel arch

Are there different versions of the "hump" on the arch...?

Been looking at the silver Escort, but I'm a bit unsure whats going on with those front arhces. The car is built by a german company that only deals with rally cars, so they say that the parts, including bumper, arches, mirrors and rear wing are genuine Ford WRC.

AFAIK Ford didnt actually produce a "WRC" Wing, it is simply a std ECos wing beaten to shape by hand, hence there may be certain irregularities

Other than that, one of the wings pictured above could be a composite material and the other steel, again hence the differences

There is no difference on any of the esc world cars ive seen or worked on....

The steel versions were produced by the people who modified the shells fo boreham and were as Damo says beaten out....

Kevlar mix versions are exact copies of the steel versions....and do fit extremely well....the silver car looks different from the rally car....cant 100% tell but i suspect it has wrc wings and standard rear quarters..

So you're saying that the front wings on the silver one is something else, home made or something?

Hi,

To clarify. On the first pic of the silver car it looks like it has modified front wings (WRC hump) and standard rear quarters....the second pic its still hard to tell.....

compare with a similar shot of world car with modified front and rear wings....the car should be widened front and rear

The genuine front wings are standard wings stretched to accomodate the addtional suspension travel the world car has.

The tar world car also had the inner arches raised 20mm on the turret to increase travel.

Didn't know that the rear quarters were also different on the WRC.
