I need a new gearbox for my escort cozzy, and been thinking of 2wd ,How hard is this to do, i know i would need a 2wd gearbox ,but is there anything else i need to do..

you need, box, front hubs, cross member, gearbox mount, prop, sump

 

rob you waster just get a box and get it fitted and stop pratting about

The prop will probably need to be custom made due to the different floorpan lengths. Different clutch cable too. Not sure if you need to change the crossmember but if you do I think the steering rack will need changing too.
