Does not sound like a big issue just a bit of unburned fuel - get the fueling checked.

probably only happens when you have been booting it.

the exhaust must be red hot to light the unburnt fuel inside the ex.

happens to most cars.

i had big 'boooom!' out of my old car sometimes.

Detonation. - not good! If the fueling and boost are not correctly set and the plugs are not doing their job then the car will start pinking (detonating) and this can lead to piston meltdown!

the black dusty stuff is because slightly overfueling.

its soot from the fuel getting burnt.

most cossies are like this, better to overfuel a bit than under fuel.

Sounds like you may have a leak in your exhaust there m8! As the other guys gave said, most of the cossies are overfueled anyway and when there is a leak in your exhaust, air can get into the system and you will ignite the unburnt fuel in the exhaust, hense the popping.

I had the same problem on 2 of my cars, the leaks on my mine were where the downpipe connects to rest of the system.

Hope this helps!
