Default mk2 pinto

hi there you will ned a rs2000 alloy sump and pick up pipe also a alloy bell housing and the correct clutch fork if the mk2 has a servo you will only be able to have a 2 or maybe a 2 1/4 inch manifold if you want 2 1/2 inch as we found out you will have to fit a world cup cross member and then have to change the steering joint and depending on your car maybe change the steering column to suit the joint + we had to cut a bit out of the servo mount for the exhaust to fit hope this helps

You'll also need to cut out a hole in the tunnel behind the existing gearbox hole for the lever on the pinto gearbox, you'll need an RS2000 gearbox mount & an RS2000 propshaft too (Might be a differwent spline on the diff end though so you could have some fun with that!)

Default sorry escortmad forgot that bit

yeap hes right i forgot about the gearbox tunnel as we chopped it right out and fitted a massive one we used a 2.01 sierra gearbox mount and drilled and plated the brackets into the floor as for the prop a local company called chards made us a prop from type 9 box to 2.8i lsd axle

What doner car you got? a granny is better cos the engine loom is seperate from the cars main loon and comes out in 1 peice.
You'll need to alter the fuel outlet on the tank to take the injection pumps larger bore pipework and plump in a fuel return from the fuel rail (use and RS or ghia fuel sender as they have a fuel return as starndard.
If you need help wiv the wiring let me know cos i'm in the process of injecting a cortina and have a few looms laying around teh garage
