Are you going to go out practicing in your s1 - as they say practise makes perfect, i was out all the time in my mums car. It deffo paid off.

Lucky for you you'll know the test area very well

Can you not get insured monthly on your mums car or something - i think you can hire out dual-control cars from somewhere local too - a few mates did so.

Anyways - literally 15 secs into the test, turn left onto the main road with the camera on it, only to find a lorry parked across all of one side of the road picking up a skip. As you know that roads divided by a wide pavement/reservation between the two lanes so i couldn't just overtake it. I waited for 20 secs or so to see if he was going to shift.

Then the tester got me for hesistaion on that whilst the other cars infront of me climbed over the central reservation. So i thought fuck it, cant wait here or i'll deffo fail and proceeded in passing the lorry by driving up onto the reservation and back down again

Later on some jumkie walked out infront of me, had to jam on the brakes (after my tester saying he wasn't going to test me on emergency stops that day )
