Default after all the work i put in AGAIN, its broke, AGAIN!

3 engines later i finally get the cossie running, without dropping a valva or anything but the rad broke which i bought new last time it had an engine (16 miles ago)
this time the new motor has broke the sodding headgasket within 8 miles
if the heads nackered its defanitley for sale this time, sorry but i`ve had enough and i`m well into 5 figures with the car now (without the origional purchase)
i will also be selling my n/a cossie`d mk2 and everything else i have to do with cossies etc.

will be getting a trans-am.

a VERY VERY unhappy Sean

as said before im sure the reg plays a part in it!

stripped it today:

the KNOB who built the motor cut the washer off a headbolt, used a shyte headgasket and never bothered to replace the pistons after it snapped a belt and wrecked no.4 piston!
head needs skimmed but has already had its last skim.............

so its getting fixed then i`m afraid if this one goes its defanitley defanitley going

no pics of the mk2 yet as it isnt running yet, oh and its a 4door

these stories sound familiar ... there are a lot of people wanting to sell it when it goes wrong..
But you need to fix it before you can sell it or you lose to much money..
and when it finally runs again .. you fall in love with the power again .. and wont sell

pukka company?

what do i do for a living?

got cossie running again today, had head skimmed lightly and pressure tested,
built up, put inlet manifold on, pushed in place and left hand side (loking at inlet side of engine) of inlet manifold SNAPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if i EVER meet the prick that owned F366YDC i SWEAR i`ll punch his fukin head in, every bolt that could be stripped/threaded on the engine was so!
rocker cover bolts, 12 out of 20 needed tapped!
the o/s furthest back bolt on the block was stripped! that needed a new sleeve type of heli-coil.
(begins with the letter "T" shit hot they are!!!!!!!)
the head itself, the cam cap studs........... fuckin ALL of the exhaust cam stud threads needed except no.1 cam cap!!!!!

how can MUPPETS like this "build" engines, if i ever, ever meet the cock that built the engine in the car i bought (in good faith of it "just having a rebuild") i SWEAR he will be a few teeth short after the argument has finished

Spiky,
i bought a set of sharktooths for Ł30!!!!!!!! yours not needed now mate. cheers anyway!

went to start the cossie after head skim/pressure test, was running on 3 pots.
found no.3 pot to be down, pulled spark plug out.
was damp. cleaned and re-fitted.
still mis-fired.
removed plug AGAIN and found to be soaked in fresh antifreeze/water.
removed all spark plugs.
cranked engine and no.3 pot was firing water out like a fountain!!!!!

i`m fukin sick.

for sale,
previousley 450+bhp high compression mag featured 2wd cossie, dead engine,(cracked head???)
complete with one off T4/external wastegate/manifold.
moonstone blue, 3 owners, 69,000k genuine, FSH etc.
cloth rouse sport seats.

car has cost me in excess of Ł15,000 on engine mods alone aswell as Ł3500 purchase price of a STANDARD 2wd saff cos!

EVERYTHING i have to do with cosworth bits comes with the car.
including Rouse sport GENUINE shell/kit, another cossie complete except the engine/trim.

sensible offers please guys/gals!

Its a real shame that sean, a real shame.

Surely a head sourced from someone on here wilol sort it to be sold rather than sell it knackered and lose a lot more??
