can you put up a picture of which type it is and i'll tell you best way, usually though on most driving a socket on will do the trick, i do have some removers that have a left hand thread that bite in as you wind them on thus undoing nut.

i had the same problem before mate i hand to smash a socket on to it . u have to use decent sockets like snap on or something cause ive tried with cheap ones and the socket has split down the side . bit of a pig to get the wheel nut out the socket though

easiest way to get nut from socket is if nut type then use a wheel stud off mk4 esc etc, screw into nut, hold this in vice and tap socket off, if stud type locker youve smashed socket on then use a normal wheel nut to hold still whilst tap socket off. all the same thread M12x1.5.

its a nightmare cos you cant keep the key in the car as that defies the object reallyso you put it somewhere safe and then you cant find it !! plus side is that i have found a wheel nut key for a car i had years ago

to be honest mate someone half clued up doesnt need a key, it takes us less than a minute a piece to remove them- its rare we get a car in with alloys and the lock nut key!

there a good deterrent for amateurs but thats about it.

if it isnt the type with 4 dimples in then just drive a socket on and undo, the 4 dimple type are awkward on sierras as there hard to get socket on so we got an old key and knocked 3 of the dowels out so only 1 goes in, tap it on and undo, wont turn as located by centre boss on nut. the bigger od types like 20 and 21mm buy wheel lock nut remover sockets with left hand threads-mine cost Ł2.50 plus vat from warehouse.

if you were closer id say bring it round and i'll do it for you.

if a 19mm socket slips then get some imperial/af sockets -youll find a suitable one! other way is with air chisel and pointed chisel.

i was joking about blowing head off bolt! no reason why wheels should be marked- ive never marked one yet.

just wondering what line of work u in tricky?? the uniform dosn't include a white an black striped jumper an a bag with "SWAG" written on it does it?
my brother managed to shear a locking wheel nut onto my cossie but luckily the wheel was scrap anyway, so i used a 5ft axe to smash the spokes, then cut the wheel off from around the hub with an angle grinder should have seen the neigbours peering out of their windows as I was swinging the axe at the cossie nosy fookers
