F****** GARAGES.............just had the garage ring to say
THEY SET FIRE TO MY RS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 FIRE EXTINGUSHERS TO PUT IT OUT.
frnt bumper burnt through, air filter, samco boost hose, 8mm spitfire new spark leads.
reckon after they put the starter on they couldnt get a charge on the battery, so they worked on that then got a charge.
started it up smelt petrol then it engulfed the car........BOLLOCKS.
i reckon they split the filter line, cranked the car and then she blew.
I AINT PAYING FOR REPAIRS.........do you know a painter?? and you need to buy a air filter....go shove that up your arse pay for the damage you caused!!!
never spat petrol when i had it started, fuel filter was fine and bolts tight.
i havent seen the damage and i dont want to.........im so pissed off

is this a ligit garage?........if it is then there's no way they can crawl out of it ....they have to sort your car out (back to the way it was before hand)....it may well have been an accident ...but that what they get insurance for ....talk to them sensibly ...if that's no good then politely threaten them with a soliciter ....after all it's nobodies fault but theirs.....
cheers lads.

good advice mate....definately sort out the legal angle before you see your car......try not to let it get too nasty .......easy us saying this but shouting and swearing will probably get you no where ......
have a look at it and ask the guy if he has his insurance details handy...see what he says ....but from what you're saying it aint your fault ....they've had it three days...
Exactly as per Cliff S1 comments I totally agree with his point of view.
I suggest you speak with a solicitor and get advice in relation to the situation your in. I suggest you leave the car in the garage to avoid any confusion with who is liable for the damage. I can see this unfolding already."The car was fine when it left this premises"
Get some photographs, which is evidence if the case ever went to court. At the end of the day they are liable for any damage caused to your vehicle whilst in their possession. They require PI/ Insurance cover to operate a business. I wouldn't assume the cause of the fire I would try to establish this. I suggest you contact the Police and have the accident on record.
Best of luck buddy.
