Default licenced .mwv files

How would one go about removing the copyright protection from a wmv file (that only plays in windows media player 10)?

Would somthing like Adobe Premier help?

Of course I have full permission from the owner of the material to do this

yes you can, you capture the audio and video source rather than try and convert the files..

i dont know how to do this by the way, ive never looked into it, but there's no way you can protect an audio or video file from getting copied.

just think about dodgy TVDs, someone points a camcorder at the cinema screen... you CAN't stop that with technology. simiar principle with PCs

Your all wrong and its easy!!!!

Just burn the wmv files to a CD like making a normal CD and then rip them back off to MP3 format and eh voila no more protection. Your free to use them as much as you like and burn them as many times as you like.

Its really that simple!

I mean video...

I can currently watch them...

but the protection stops my "other pc" from playing them without connecting to the internet and downloading the licence!
