just put me new speakers in (200w 6.5)

It's a bit strange having a bit of bass coming from there but they sound so much better than the standard 4" they gave us from the factory.

did you have to cut the metal basket that goes behind the plastic bit?

also what size are they? 6.5 inch??

finally do you have any pictures of them in the car?

lots of questions lol im looking at upgrading my speakers soon.

thought tweeters need to be quite close to the components for them to sound right? think i heard that somewhere?

tweeters are high to keep the soundstage high , all my tunes are ABOVE the dash , not in the floor


that sub weighs over 30 kilos , the amp 18 , the other amp 15

i dont care for speed, the vans just something i like the look of

but as it happens its not slow , and i have a few plans up ma sleeve too

didnt realise is was a van

speaker pods do look the nuts tho

Oranoco no mate thats the remote face for an old ALpine EQ its been removed since and so have the tweeter u can see there

Combi_Chris what sub is that? 30kg for a sub....same as my old 15 getting 2 15's soon with 4800wrms of bass amplification...currently im at 2500wrms but it just aint loud enough LOL

old setup was good for 150+db using 4 Kicker L5's in my old car in a 13cuft ported box

yellow top and transit diesel battery and 180amp alternator, 1/0gauge cabling, RF white wolf RCA's, RF speaker cabling throughout etc etc...i dont drop below 13v when the bass drops heavy for long periods...which is good lol

i need to invest in a new alt , my voltages can drop to below 12 when its all in, total current draw is over 300 amps, LOL

i guess your into spl, not sq

Run mine off a Kenwood Powerslide. It's enough to get a coin flipping on the roof so being old I turned it down a bit

Think the amp is 400w

did someone mention kicker solos?











and im into SQL mate my system plays HEAVY HEAVY bass when needed also does the SQ and blows most people away with 5.1 dolby surround sound etc
