Default TomTom geniouses - another question

I have the wired tomtom gps receiver and i need to find out what each of the 4 wires in the RJ11 plug do - i know that 2 are for power and 2 are for data, but which ones do what?

if anyone has the pin-out i would be happy if you could let me know what they are

eh? i thought you were trying to use your tomtom car kit to charge your aftermarket USB gps receiver

you trying to convert the RJ11 to USB and plug it into a USB port? that won't work on a wired tomtom i'm afraid the tomtom receiver doesnt contain the usb device information. you'd have to wire it into a serial port yet still find a way of providing it with a good +5v supply
