I love the first one where he chases the toe cutter at the end and catches him up the sound of that v8 interceptor roaring along was just pure evil

The car in the film ran the blower off the water pump and the carb was under the blowers housing so it wasn't really supercharged
However a chap called Mark Scarselli, who I think is in Newyork, has built a real
working replica .
The film car is now in the Car of Stars Museum in the lake district.
