same wheel as the FRST, fitted to the late xr2i's and early rs1800's, you know the one.

what i need is the part number as i need to see if fords still do them.
the guys at my loacal ford are having a hard time locating the wheel im on about so a part number would be great.

should be able to find the part number near the bolt behind the center cap, it might be on the back of the wheel but i cant see that.
need the part number for the wheels, not the center cap please chaps

cheers mate, after 10 mins on the phone to ford i finally got the same part number as you posted up mate so many thanks for that, the guy at ford did say it doesnt give detailes of colour of leather etc but im guessing it right, hope so as its speacil order only and if its wrong im fairly fooked as i would of paid out for the wrong wheel and wont get a refund, so need to be 100% sure as payment up front only
do you know if the black gear knob that looks the same as FRST one is still available mate?

i could mate but i really dont like the idea of the boss sticking the wheel out, and it will look standard too, as i have black dash, carpet etc alreay and im getting the seats trimmed in leather too.
might see about cost on wheel retrim, might be cheaper than new, lol

im still bored the gear knob is finis code 1228654 its 39.48 and its still available as well.i looked up the numbers for rs1800 so they should be ok m8.

 

I've got a black leather RS1800 wheel here but the only number i can find on it is

V90FB - 3600 - ACW - C79MA

And it was made in April 92

Thats the only things that are stamped inside

 

about 100 quid mate 4 a propper job, i woz gonna get my old FRST steering wheel retrimed. so i went down Fords and brought a new FRST wheel and cap 4 the xr2

 

cheers mate, yeah this is a number that someone else gave me, when i gave it to ford he said they prob dont use the number anymore as its gone to computer numbers now, so gave me the part number after serching like what boostaholic posted.

yeah prob gunna be looking abut this, have tried a copule this morning, no answer at 1 and answer phone at the other, will try again laters, but im guessing there gunna wanna see it before pricing it, even a rought price

 

jay simons part no is correct because its trim the the letters after 3600 wont cross reference with fords computers its the same for all trim parts im afraid! they make us parts boys life as difficult as they can it keeps us on our toes!

once seats are retrimmed, there gunna be black leather with cream leather piping ( if i can still get the leather for the prices ive been quoted so that knob would fit right in got a pic of it?

I gave the GTi knob from my FRST to Stu as I had the Momo from our old 2i

SHould have sold the fooker instead
