Well its thursday 22 and im sat at work surfin the net, ive been doing this the past two days, boss on holiday and the rest of the crew here (9of us)
are wondering why we need to be here. Phones are dead, no invoices to do and now im fed of the internet, run out of crazy videos, bored of ebay and its still only 10.30am.

Well anyone have any good ideas of something to do.

I'm so worn out too, due to waking up coughing my guts up (luckily not literally) and getting no kip as a result

i've got to do this job 6 days a week, holidays or not, i'm even working xmas day

AND i can't get onto all the sites everyone else has access to, i've had to ask IT to let me have this site open (as well as a few others) because someone hooked up to playboy and they said "approved work relaetd sites only"

I wish I had nothing to do, for some reason the last week or so has been absolutely mental in the office.

I stuipidly answered my Managers phone yesterday and it was a massive Customer complaint that im now having to deal with, on top of loads of other stuff

Not to mention that fact that I haven't finished training the various people who will be taking over my job - and now they've gone on holiday. Haven't even started clearing my desk out yet, although the girls in the office have already nicked the teddy bears and random toys that normally cover my computer and desk area, and my last day is tomorrow so ummmm think I best get on with some work

 

I had sod all to do at work, so came home

 

I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO BUSY the oil industry has gone mental on the run up to the festive season. Guess all the rigs are $hitting themselves that they will be unable to get equipment of personell offshore in the next couple of weeks so they are shouting for everything NOW

Will be at least 16:00 before i get finished tonight

 

now that was silly.. should do i what i do and ignore everyones phone around you as if their not ringing .. ive even got an answer machine on my phone so i dont have to answer it

 

As much as that sounds like a great idea, unfortunately not possible. Although I work on my own in my job, im part of a team of 8 people - all who get a percetage of their bonus relating to our phone stats. Our team has the best phone stat results in the whole group of Companies and we're all very Customer focused

You have an ansaphone........... I have two god damn lines coming through to my DDi, so even when im on the phone people can still call me and another team member picks it up and puts them on hold for me
My DDi number is statistically the busiest telephone line in our Company..... and they're not even directly replacing me so I feel quite sorry for the rest of the team who are already busy people.

 

well stop moaning then and earn that commission

 

lol thats the frustrating part, I dont earn commission, and I wont be here when the bonus gets paid out
