Can someone with this wheel:



please take a picv with the centre cap off. i cant for the life of me work out how all the horn push stuff goes back together!

I have that wheel. I'll try and get you a pic sometime soon. As far as I remember it was quite easy to fit - do you have a pic of the bits maybe I could point you in the right direction without having to drive to the garage with tools.

It's for sale if anyone is interested - complete with boss for Mk4 Escort. Condition is good but used. Some scratches but no stitchin falling apart or anything. This ist the best wheel I've ever had in a car - they are really nice. Lovely leather and great design.

There are 6 screws, 3 silver machined, and 3 black self tappers with plastic washers.

They i think can only go int the plastic black ring, but i dont know what they secure. No idea where the spring sits, and the order of the other 2 rings....

 

Is that my old steering wheel? I never worked out where it ended up!

I can probably figure it out, ill have a think about it when i get back in a few hours
