can anyone shed any light or have had the same problem the ignition key locks out when i try to start her (the car not the wife) your input will be much appreciated [/img]

 

can you give us a bit more info mate,un less im not reading it right

 

yes no probs when you put the key in and turn to start wont go any further than second click its like its already started and the barrier is there that stops you engaging the starter again its driving me nuts it would'nt be any good as a get away car

 

sounds like the ignition barrel *might* need replacing,something may have moved in side,not sure how or why though

try spraying a bit of wd40 in to the barrel see if it helps any
or you could try phoning a car locksmith to see what he advises

 

no mate already done that ford dealer said its the whole housing 200 bucks i think there pulling me pisser
