Hi folks,
I won an auction for an MTX75 gearbox and bought it at the buy it now of £40.
Bargain, I thought. Well, that was on the 11th of November and espite contacting the bloke 3 times since and have heard nothing. I wanted to go pick it up right away
How long do I give the guy to respond? This is what I've just sent him:
Any ideas anybody?

Hi mate,
If I don't hear from you very soon I will have no choice but to leave negative feedback and report you to ebay as I have tried to contact youa number of times now since winning the auction.
I really don't want to have to take that route mate, so please get in touch so we can complete this transaction amicably.
Cheers,
James Carter

They go for a bit more generally. Traders knock them out around £150
But they seem to go from around £45 upwards on ebay in most cases. Not many about at that money tho. There's a lower mileage one going for a fiver more than the one I've won and if I'm gonna get nothing out of this guy then I'd rather go buy that one before its snapped up even if it is further to collect it.
That's the only worry I have about giving him more time. Obviously he might have had something unexpected happen like a serious issue in his life or possibly a broken down computer. That's why I want advice on how long I should give him really.
This is the seller: http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...234591&frm=284
On the face ofit he seems a good genuine seller. 185 feedback at 99.5%

The dispute thing and feedback on ebay is crap.
I bought an item, paid for it promptly, never recieved it.
entered the dispute process, he just took a month at a time to reply, kept saying he would refund but never did, then eventually after 90 days ebay closed the dispute automatically cause of how long it had been open
he still has my money, i have no item
was only 30 quid, but what a fucking shite system!

Well, luckily this is cash on collection Chip and I haven't paid anything out yet, it's just an inconvenience at this point. That sucks what happened to you tho, it's more the principle than the cash in most cases.

I'm sure that's not the only reason to go see him, eh? I mean, it would be rude not to introduce yourself properly
