can anyone help me my rs turbo is smoking like a bitch its ok when i first start it then it starts to smoke after a min or 2 and keeps smoking while im reving it any ideas

 

oil rings ,turbo sealsv ? what is it white or blue smoke?

 

blue smoke could it be a breather

 

most likey is the oil rings or turbo check ur play in turbo have u done a comp test ?

its blown a turbo before how can i check the oil feed or pressure

 

i would go for turbo as no1, the reason it stops when it warms up and rev is because the internals expand due to heat

secondly i would check stem seals

and then compression

 

it aint stopping when its warm as far as i know

 

do a ompression test then... dont sound good.

 

done the compression check and they all about 110-120psi on each cylinder

so its the turbo and took it for a run lol smoked out all the area and bingo it stopped smoking once well warm

can anyone help y my car has blown the turbo second one in a year
