how much would i be looking at if i wanted a complete bare metal respray and rust repair of my S2???

been thinking about rebuilding my S2 for a little while and just want a rough guess to see if i can actually achieve what i want to do

All depends on if your going to strip the car yourself and the condition... you'd save alot of money if you strip the car down to a rolling shell yourself. Then its a case of seeing what condition the shells in and taking it from there. Your best speaking to a restorer or drop a post in the restoration forum on here, must be plenty of ppl on here with ideas of price for worst/best case shell restoration.

 

could cost anything from 1k flashover to 5k+ resto job
depends how much rust etc and whether it will need new panels/repairs etc
if welding needing done as this takes a huge chunk of the money
and to what standard you want it

I know of two places that will do one hell of a pukka job for less than 1500 mate (everythihng that needs doing - they will both do it)

Seen work and I want some of it too, just mine ain't no concours car and you know the rest...
