Ive searched everywhere and i know there was a post not long ago about the best way of cleaning them but i cant find it! Whats everyones opinions on the best way? Or does anyone have the link for the post? I think i remember someone saying put them in the dishwasher?!

WD40 works well apparently, although I just got a big bucket of warm soapy water and a soft scrubbing brushon my old ones and they came up like new
Dishwasher would be good, only problem is dont let the mrs find out!

Na, very unlikely, the hoses are tested for serious PSI and heat I would have thought, wouldn't get no hotter than they do in your engine bay! But the oil might have an effect on the dishwasher!!!!

Dishwasher did no good, just made them non greasy! I used a Glist dishwasher tablet
Dishwasher is ok apart from oily smell
Just dont ask for a glass or cup if your at my house!
Tried using brake cleaner that i got with my caliper/drum paint. Sprayed it on, left it for 10 seconds, gave it a wee bit elbow grease with a cloth and they come up like new
