why, every time i start from cold, or even an hour or 2 after turning it off, does the car splutter for a second or 2, oil light on, then its ok. i have tried disconnecting the cold start valve, and it makes no differance... it only seems to be doing it the last month or so.

 

oil light should go out straight away, check your oil pressure, mine starts a bit spluttery for a few seconds, then as soon as my oil pressure gauge moves it runs smooth
