Default How do u make a cossie better on fuel

Hello i have been told that by changing to a different ecu and i think light blue injectors the car will use alot less fuel.

Is this true and if so what do i need to do it.

Cheers

Put it back on standard injectors, lower the boost, re map the ecu to standard,
and drive it like miss daisy is in the back that will sort out your fueling problem

Open bonnet, remove that big snail thing on the left... replace with a bit of pipe...

Instant economy

I think you are thinking of L8 ecu with closed loop control, MSD do this and I think upto green injectors DIY, I have read reports on here of how much better it is, but I would think staying on std injectors with std or stage 1 chip would be best method.

Mine absorbs the stuff, A full tank will give me just over 200 miles

I don't use the car every day, only weekends. I don't really care as i bought the car to abuse the jap crap.

when i was on stage 3 and greens i was getting around 200-220 miles - this would be less i drove it hard.

Now on stage 4 , 400bhp on motorsport blue injectors and I get roughyl the same mileage per tank and can get it as low as 150 miles per tank if driven hard. But i did get it remapped by ahemd bayjoo and that made sooo much difference.

May be best to get your car resetup - altho this shoudl be done at least once a year.
