personalised plates
bunch of arse, mate. 400 quid to the govenrment for a set of numbers that cost them nothing and mean nothing? you'd have to have more money than sense. over here, you can choose your number for 15 euro's which is reasonable.
you don't buy any other other consumer good and pay extra for a 'personal' serial number on it, so why do it on a car? strange

if u realy want it then go for it - u can always transfer it to another car. buy if if you are looking at keeping it permanently or for a number of years
I would go for something car related as it adds value to the car and is also easier to sell if needed.

its always been my opnion that plates that are just the owners initials are shite! The ones which spell a word or a related to the car are much better
I was shocked at how much my plate was.. with my car being an E-reg there werent that many plates about.. Plus i didnt want anyone to know how old the car was so i went for an even earlier plate i ended up with B20 PHL which any idiot can see that the PHL is supposed to say PHIL just annoys me when people say whats the B20 for
