Default What Turbo and from Whom??????

I have a 4x4 saff coss, its running greens with a bayoo pectel board mongoose exhaust, k&n group A cone filter rs 500 intercooler, currently I have a standard 4x4 T3 what boost should i run with this to give it a resonable life? Its currently peak at 23psi and drops to 19psi , secondly when I save some pennies what would be the turbo of choice, im not bothered about a small increase in lag as a substitute for long turbo life and more top end power. What do you all think.

Depends on your budget mate. I think the T34 with a .55 housing is a good all round turbo.

budget is negotiable depending on how much the turbo costs and what people advise me, lets say a sensible price less that 1k

T34's normally run one of these three sizes of exhaust housing. .48, .55 and .63

The bigger the exhaust housing the more power the Turbo will make, but it will have more lag.

.55 seems a nice compromise. I went it Jayb's escos with one and it felt really punchy.

The above is pretty simplified and generalised but I think its correct.

AS Porkie said

there bigger the Exhaust housing the better it pulls top end etc, but then you have more lag as a general rule.
