Jim, unfortunately i've never had the pleasure of either driving or even being a passenger in ANY RST so cant really comment
I've done about 20k since the conversion. Had one big engine failure through my own ignorance and lack of experience - did about 5k with no oil cooler and no gauges, oil cooked = dead cam etc.
other than that its been pretty good. 9.6CR, initially ran it at 7psi on sh*t intercooler, then 9psi on isuzu cooler, now 11psi on 4x4 and water injection.
sometimes get idling issues, usually due to some tiny bit of dirt in the carb, but pretty rare.
goes well, handles well and stops well now with proper brakes!!

Love it mate! The TT XR2's are a very rare commodity indeed, nice to see such a nice one
Noticed the XROC sticker in the rear window - are you registered with the club?

Very nice, some nice little touches, have you thought about upping the boost at all, im sure your coolings more then capable of handling it!

thanks guys
Thrush, i was registered with the XROC but my membership ran out and i have yet to get around to renewing it!
ZED, atm its still on 9.6 CR. On this CR they only ran 6-7psi when they came from TT, so i've already pushed it a fair bit, but as you say the coolings there so i reckon it could be pushed further.
I will raise it a bit soon, but i wanna gather a bit of cash first so if it does break i can repair it lol
I saw your cousins car on XRtwo.com, looks really good mate (see comments on xrtwo)! Saff looks wicked too!

Hardeep, yeah managed to get a more respectable time a couple of months back - as i suspected the actuator was my problem at brunters!
thanks for the comments everyone
Forgotten about this post!
Digi yeah i think your right with the spotlight - i sometimes find it rubs on the bonnet though when its opened which is pretty annoying so it usually ends up getting pushed around a bit!
Yeah you can run a DV on a TT mate, even on 6psi. I run one but its not shown in the pics as i was awaiting a diaphragm. Used to run a bailey one and now use a forge diaphragm type. It works the same as any other turbo car so there's no reason for it not to work.
I would suspect a problem with the vacuum line - where has this been taken from? I originally connected mine to a small take off thats blocked as standard on the inlet manifold, but i found it would never dump! I then found that this take-off was totally blocked with years of gunge! once clear it worked fine.
thanks for the kind replies chaps!!
