no spark???s1 turbo taken to garage had new dizzy plugs leads d,cap coil blokes had it two weeks what else could it be ????????????/ could it be that esc 2 thingy ?soz i dont know much about cars really read escort manual only thing i can see is that esc 2 could it be that
I know this probably doesn't help much but i had the same trouble with mine last year, changed everything and still no spark

Ontop of the Dizzy there is a cheap and weak plastic connection.Check that for breaks as it 'may' be a distributer fault..?
There is a small wire in there that is prone to letting go,im not sure if that can be replaced or youd need the whold dizzy unit though

ecu is on the bluck head, silver one, some on ebay, normally about 20 quid max unchipped
check the small green wires from the coil, they run down the cross member outside the loom and back up the driverside inner wing, check there are no breaks in it,

Follow the green wire from the distributor round the front of tyhe car, its prone for chaffing and shorting to ground at the front of the car, especially if you have a front mounted intercooler.
A clue to this is the coil can get very warm with the ignition on.
