does the light light up when you turn the ignition on?
if not then look at getting the bulb changed
if everything else works then it ight just be a duff bulb
unless you've just recently bought it and the former owner, knowing it was going to be a pain in the rs to get the abs sorted took the bulb out

bulbs are easy to change, just put your had up behind the dash panel and twist it out and swap it over

hi
i took the clocks out today to check the bulbs and found that the last owner had done away with the bulb and relay, on the relay block connector he had bridged 2 wires together why i dont know. i have now fitted a bulb and relay, light comes on does self check and goes off but when driving at about 50mph light comes on and stays on.
what is the next most common fault abs wheel sensors or abs ecu, and can you still get them

any help would be great

sensor
unplug it form the loom and then spin the wheel (it's a bit tricky with 4wd but you just need to get all the wheels off the ground to do it)

put a meter across the conectors and the sensor with the different reading is the one that needs chaging

don't know what the readings would be though

Hi Mate, if memory serves correct you should be able to measure between 1200 to 1400 ohms on a good wheel sensor at the connector, hope this helps.

Regards, Mike

hi
i checked ohms and ac voltage on all 4 sensors and found that n/s/f and o/s/r werent reading at all, so i went down fords and they wanted £103 eh .
then i remembered the 4x4 at the breakers went and had a look and found them in good con and giving good values so had the lot for £10.
got back fitted them and now it all works lovely , so thanks guys for the input to helping me fix it
