hello my bros car is a nightmare to start when cold, it starts quick but dies quicker it mis fires alot when you hit the paddle after a couple of mins its clears and is fine.
The engine has just been rebuilt and it needs a setup would this cause problems

Oh and i tried unplugging the cold start thing which make no difference

did you disconnect the blue plug?

 

no the cold start thing.

It also back fires when you turn it off a mate said it maybe timing, its just been rebuilt.
