Mines going in the glove box mate (s8), but I'm redoing myself a custom loom for that

With the Fiesta loom, it only reaches to the battery area for the loom plug, I think Rudey had his behind the heater box....

I can't be arsed to change the whole car loom, its been sat there long aneough as it is lol

behind the heater box sounds good, I'll see if I can make something up to mount it on the old ECU brackets

Also as its inside the car on the Fiesta is it hard to pull out of a donor car?

In front of the centre console. Ford still sell the bracket and the carpet cover for it.

Tim, Simon's a good mate of mine, and I like the product! Got a good price too

Could have used Cossie, but was easier to use something aftermarket on it as its a Zetec, no messing with custom sensors/brackets, coilpack conversions etc....just plug n play with the s8

The EEC-IV unit is only rated to 80 Deg C, from memory. It will last alot longer in the car, rather than the engine bay, plus there is a chance of it getting wet.

Good question.

1.9S1, I like yours mate! Im either going to mount mine permenantly on the inner wing where you have your fuel filter is, with the map sensor....OR, behind the heater box, where the RST ecus used to be

1.9 S1 nicely done

Is that with the Fiesta or 3i loom? I think I'm gonna do the reverse of yours and keep the fuel filter where it is

Thats with a spliced Fiesta loom,

However we kept the EDIS and MAP in the same place as they would be on a 3i, by extending the loom in places,

Check out the whole conversion www.rsbible.co.uk

Shhhhh!

Front ends going to be part of an internal roll cage mounting the engine, basically a tube frame, pulling a S2 along with it!!

Should be a giggle, looking for an MMT6 - 6-Speed box at the moment, rare as fook though, it would seem!!
