or a hungry aminal?..

That is why ford spends so much time atatching each loom to something firmly and padding those areas where it might be a problem.

Yeah, vauxhall don't give a fuck what they do with it, as long as its enough to get the car off the production line

Sorted now, its a terrible design fault that caused it. Gonna have the lovely task of making from scratch, a brand new loom the way I want it

p.s one deisgn fault on ford mondeo.....How the hell am i meant to get the fag lighter out the socket when theres about 1mm clearance around it?

^^ Just to make me feel a bit better about owning a vauxhall

Like the connectors?! I will admit they have gotten better over the years. in the early 80's all the connectors broke when you took them apart (if you didnt pull the wires out of it). 90's they figured that it was a good idea to invest time into keeping water out and managed to make atleast half the connectors freindly to the mechanic. the current ones I am not to sure though.

Merkur xr4ti's were and still are plagued with shorting problems from the loom getting to old.

Wiring is a crap job if you can't find the problem though. Even if you do, its often better to replace than repair, and thats seriously time consuming.

To fabricate an electiric window looped loom took me the best part of 3 days
