Like the connectors?! I will admit they have gotten better over the years. in the early 80's all the connectors broke when you took them apart (if you didnt pull the wires out of it). 90's they figured that it was a good idea to invest time into keeping water out and managed to make atleast half the connectors freindly to the mechanic. the current ones I am not to sure though.

Merkur xr4ti's were and still are plagued with shorting problems from the loom getting to old.
