Default ERST Gearboxes.

Are any of the shafts heat sealed onto other shafts.
I have another clutch slipping and this one has only done 900 miles.

I can confirm no wheel spinning - no oil leaks - no water leaks.

Cannot understand why another has gone south?

Beginning to think there is an issue else where.

Its not far of standard so not a power related issue.

How about a Clutch Pedal/Ratchet issue causing the Clutch to drag? (i.e. Not release fully).

Yeah the ratchets are a bastard at times, advisable to swap it when fitting a new clutch.

Are the motorcraft clutches any good??

Is always popping up on here. From past threads they appear to be good up to 200BHP.

i opted for a AP one when i had mine because of the truobles id had trying to get a decent one and it was only about 165 bhp at the time

The car was so much different on the AP one you could really tell it was working properly.
