Default Replacing the front brake lines ??? On 2wd cossie

Ok im going to replace the front break lines with braided ones BUT do i do away with the old copper lines that come up of the calliper to the shock

And replace them completly in one line or do i do it in 2 lines Eg as they are now but both in braided

I have done the rear ones where they run along the rear arm in copper And have replaced them with braided and look the Nuts

Ok to make it simple do i use 2 hose or just have 1 going from caliper to the body

As you can see i replaced the 3 parts on the rear with just the 2 bits

Alan, what steve says is what we did on MrsFrog's.

PS: I thought you had made a hole in your boot with that rear beam picture, it kind of looks like your boot floor has been cut away at first

I've always viewed flexi lines as a necessary evil, as when the line moves, due to the wheel turning or the line expanding under pressure, its internal volume will alter, leading to a less precise feel at the pedal. How much of a difference it makes in practice, i can't say, as i havn't done back to back tests, but the theory stands up.
Did 'tiny' give you that blue paint?

Steve@SCC, Well its now got new copper pipes both sides same as the standard ones were Due to it snapping when i canged the disks and pads And i could not get any where to get the parts to make the Braided ones up as the cossie was in bits

But i will do away with them when i get the draided ones done

Greg no m8 no cutting BUT Very fooking Thight to get it in

Ran sod off my cossie is still sat on my m8s ramp due to not being able to undo the rear Hub Nuts 1's off (2hours later that is) And im going to take the othere one in the arm over the road and get the GAS on it

aRSe, Fook it if it works for the time i own it it will do And No to the paint But you could have said it cost me loads in bloody hamerite

Couple of picks
