Does anyone play online, on the xbox using the computers connection to the net?? if so can any help to sort it out??

call up aol help desk! they will talk you through setting up another x box connection which enables you to connect to aol without useing the aol loader!......

I use xbconnect.com and the programs called neXBC

 

im on x box live

 

at last a game that is better than gt4 imo and online too

 

Why pay when you can get for free!

 

Because theres LOADS more features on live than xlink etc... (i have xlink too but its pony , just use it for my copied games)


for example on Forza....

in career mode, EVERY race you complete is uploaded to the live scoreboards so you can check your driver ranking/ times against the best in the world ... instantly..

Hotlaps ... you can download setups and ghosts from the scoreboards and put them on your tuned cars and WHUP ASS (im 13th in the world in C CLASS )

the online racing experience is just MASSIVE, you race for career points/credits, and the all important ELO (world driver ranking)


trust me m8, if you had XBOX LIVE, you wouldn't use any tunneling software again (ie xlink/xbconnect)


£40 a year aint exactly much either for a whole new experience in your games.

Yeah, but the fact is, xbconnect is free and ive had no probs with it and i can play online which is the main thing on xbox live at end of the day........if i paid for xbconnect, i expect id get more out of it than what you would get with xbox live....simply because it woulden't be by microsoft. but seen as its free and can still play players online just like xbox live, gotta be better surely!

lol Well, think id rather wait till the two subscriptions of xbox live comes out and choose the free one and not the silver subsciprtion,

40mph over here, christ, you'd be lucky to reach that with the tourists over here!
