Was a bad crash on the last day, Senior TT, a rider crashed in Kirk Michael hitting a Marshall too, both were killed in the accident!! It's so dangerous

 

Fooking wicked racing that was, shame about the people that got killed tho!

Guy I used to work with raced a 750 SRAD. Did the NW200 in 98 Superbike Race 1 was a 105.1 Production Race was 105.03 and a 104.0 in the NW200 Superbike(Results here) and the TT. Averaged a 98.14 in 97 (see link here and a 100.96 in 98. [Link here).

He met some of the greats including Joey. Said they were all ordinary blokes. That once you've fallen off a few times you get the Ego knocked out of you. The one thing he remembered most was that youd be tucked in. Flat out, as fast as you could go and somebody would pass you like you were standing still.

His brother mechaniced for him and told me that he HATED his brother doing it. Was terrified of what might happen.

If you win a bike race at Cadwell or Brands, you're good. If you even compete at either you have nerves of steel But if you win a TT class. Any class. You're bloody amazing. I mean Rutter did 201.1 this year on the Triangle.

That sidecar broke the lap record aswell this year I think, first sidecar to go round the circuit in under 20 mins, they had an average speed of over 150mph! Serious Respect due to them!

Heard about Gus Scott too, RIP
