Default oil

the Silkolene pro seems to be the oil of the moment and it comes in 5 litre containers, unless you know it was recently changed I would do oil and filter and record mileage so you know where you are also check it on a regular basis

I get mine through a friends car garage, it costs 29.99 for 5 litres and will be available from most car accesory dealers like motorworld etc

being a 10-60 grade its one of the thickest fully synthetic oils available and i think its good value too

Got mine to change tonight

So we'll see how it goes.

MAybe we can start a poll of the best Oil's for your RS's, it would stop people clogging my the forums etc?

Just an idea!

Oh dear, top quality stuff

I would have gone for a decent oil like M1 15w-50, Silkolene PRO S or Silkolene PRO R.

Unless of course you're on a budget

Cheers
Simon

OK i'm off to the garage again, lucky enough they had to order in from another dealer.............So i'll ignore te calls

ITs OK,

But I would change over to something with some real quality next time.

Silkolene and Motul are tops.

Cheers

Simon.

There's only one in my opinion which balances quality and price

Silkolene PRO S 10w-50

There was a thread recently on this, I'm sure those using it would have a word or two of praise for it.

Fantastic oil, you won't find better at the price

Cheers

Look in my thread on the general section entitled GT Battle Pre Orders and you'll find the prices there.

Cheers
