Default Anybody on here been Hypnotized?

I'm thinking more for things like to stop you smoking rather than some bloke in the pub that makes you think you are a chicken. Did it stop you from smoking?

Or any kind of first hand info on hypnotism will be great.

Thank you

father in law has. He went to try and cue his golf problem. Everytime he goes to hit the ball i.e halfway through his swing he keeps freezing. He's only just done one session but he seemed pleased and is going back. It's like Ł50 a go I think.

Could get the number if you like

he's local to you too.

top fookin bloke and seems to be very good at what he does.

unfortunately some of the secrets of WHY it works he wont be able to share with you because then it wont actually work

he's done most of my mates for a laugh at some point... watching someone snort up 5ft lines of imaginary coke off a pool table is rather ammusing on a friday night

A friend of mine had a 2 quit smoking sessions (Ł125 a go!! ) and it worked but I think it relies a lot on wanting to do what is suggested.

I've been hauled up on stage twice and both times been told to sit down again because it didn't work....think a lot of it is pants myself!! HTH!!!

Thanks guys. The golf thing is interesting, because I just used smoking as an example. I don't smoke...

Can it be used to help you remember or forget things?

Jon - Phone number will be handy, thanks mate

There are alternatives for memory problems, Ginkgo Biloba is one of them

In the last 30 years, more that 300 studies have given clinical evidence that ginkgo prevents and benefits many problems throughout the entire body. Ginkgo is gaining recognition as a brain tonic that enhances memory because of its positive effects on the vascular system, especially in the cerebellum. It is also used as a treatment for vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ears) and a variety of neurological disorders and circulation problems. Ginkgo may help to counteract the effects of aging, including mental fatigue and lack of energy.

Ginkgo works by increasing blood flow to the brain and throughout the body's network of blood vessels that supply blood and oxygen to the organ systems. It increases metabolism efficiency, regulates neurotransmitters, and boosts oxygen levels in the brain which uses 20% of the body's oxygen.

Benefits of enhanced circulation in the brain include improved short and long term memory, increased reaction time and improved mental clarity. Ginkgo is often used to treat elderly persons with Alzheimer's and other symptoms of cerebral insufficiency. Cerebral insufficiency is a general term for a collection of symptoms that include difficulties of concentration and memory, absentmindedness, confusion, lack of energy, depressive mood, anxiety, dizziness, tinnitus, and headache.
I'm using it at the moment for my finals at Uni, but i've only been on it for a week so far...

I'm sorry, I do not wish to offend anyone but this:

quote: father in law has. He went to try and cue his golf problem. Everytime he goes to hit the ball i.e halfway through his swing he keeps freezing. end quote

Has got to be THE saddest thing I have heard in all my life!!!

I don't know what's worse, the problem or the measures taken to solve it!

Carry on.

It does work on a lot of things Tony. My mate gets it done before her driving tests and her Dad has given up smoking through it.

I wonder if it can cure my bad dreams??
