Default where can i insure a "Q" reg car

mite be doing a deal a getting a Q reg saff. where is the cheapest and easist place to insure it??????

try kit carspecialists. You might be able to insure it that way really cheap.

it is ment to make it more likely to be stolen but i cant see it as not as many people want a Q plate car lol u would not believe the arguments i had with most insurance companys when they told me that when i wanted to insure my saff

From memory when I was in the insurance game.

The main reason they don't like Q's is because, they either have a dodgy past and most likely have been paid out on (i.e stolen recovered but with no id or with alot of untraceable parts). Or because they were built from various parts etc, or kitcars.

Basicly in the case of a cossie, they can't prove it was made by ford, and they don't know whats happened to it since it was made, so they are warry of them and charge the friggin earth to cover em.

My 3dr is on a Q & its with greenlight ins, all mods declared T34,greens,500 i/c,suspension ,brakes,wheels,loads of mods, £699 fully comp but i am 34yrs

it cost me about £200 more to insure my Q plate saff than wot it would cost me to insure a normal registered 1

When i insured my Q plate S1 i had to have an engineers report from the AA!!

And because it different stuff on from standard, i had to get it MOTed again and send them a copy of fresh certificate!!!
