Siezed Coilovers... common?

one of my front GAZ struts feels different to the other one... it doesn't "click" when you turn it (still gets solid at each end of the adjustment) and also it doesnt seem to get any stiffer when you turn it to full stiff... the other one seems fine, goes from full soft (which is still stiffer than the other one!) to full stiff which is rock fookin hard.
what we recon, siezed?
anyone ha this before? do they fix em under warranty or have i gotta get a new one? theyre less than a year old by the way, and i don't have a receipt

i bought em off danvisteon on here (he got em for me at trade) and didnt bother asking for one. i dont actually keep the receipts for my car
i spent over 5k on the fooker but can't prove it
